ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca City School District is getting a donation.

An anonymous donor has contributed $25,000 to the Fine Arts Booster Group. It’ll help pay for teacher grants that furthers the Arts for All program. According to the district, the donor “wanted to ensure the Fine and Performing Arts teachers are able to continue to do their wonderful work and allow funds so that they can develop and continue special programs, as well as have the opportunity to get the training and professional development they want and need.”

Last month, the district received a $100,000 anonymous donation to fund upgrades to the Ithaca High School’s auditorium.
