BARTON, NY (607NewsNow) — A Tioga County town might add a new Planning Board member.

Lawmakers in Barton are considering appointing Chris Uetwiller to the town’s Planning Board. Uetwiller would fill a vacancy on the board; his term would last until 2028.

The Barton Town Board will vote on the appointment tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Barton Town Hall.
