Binghamton Black Bears return to Commissioner’s Cup Finals

BINGHAMTON, NY (607NewsNow) — The Binghamton Black Bears are heading back to the Commissioner’s Cup Finals.

On Sunday, Binghamton knocked out the Port Huron Prowlers in Game 3 of their playoff series. The final score was 2-1.

Mac Jansen scored both goals for the home team. His teammate, Ivan Bondarenko, tallied two assists.

Binghamton goalie Dominik Tmej made several saves in the final two minutes to secure the win. When time expired, fans cheered and blew into stadium horns.

The Black Bears will next face the Pee Dee IceCats for all the marbles. The best-of-five series begins Friday in South Carolina.
