Body discovered in Auburn, no foul play suspected

AUBURN, NY (607NewsNow) – A death investigation is underway in Auburn.

On June 14, officers were called to the area of Elizabeth and Steel Street shortly after 3:30 a.m. for a report of an unconscious man.

The man was determined deceased at the scene. Authorities have reportedly identified him as Daniel Sitterly, 50.

Investigators say no foul play is suspected and there is no threat to the public, but the investigation is ongoing.
