Cancer Resource Center Walkathon returns to Cass Park for a 32nd year

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — On Saturday, October 3rd, the Cancer Resource Center (CRC) Walkathon and 5k will be held at Cass Park.

In its 32nd year, the event brings together cancer survivors, their loved ones, and community members who want to show their support to create a sense of solidarity for those affected by cancer. The walkathon and 5k is the CRC’s biggest annual fundraiser, with all proceeds directly supporting community members facing a cancer diagnosis, offering access to critical services and resources free of charge.

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. for those who wish to register the day of the walkathon and 5k, and the race itself starts at 10:00 a.m. Individual registration is $45, donate and register on the event’s website here.
