Cayuga Cancer Center to move to Ithaca Waterfront

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – Part of Cayuga Health’s Cayuga Cancer Center is moving.

Medical oncology, hematology, and chemotherapy services are moving from the hospital to Cayuga Park, located at 401 Cayuga Park Lane at the Ithaca Waterfront, effective August 19. The Cancer Center’s Radiation Medicine practice and all radiation therapy services will remain at Cayuga Medical Center, and patients with appointments at the Cortland and East Campus offices will continue to receive services and treatment at those locations.

“The generosity and support of our community is allowing us to further develop and create access to advanced care for Ithaca and the Southern Tier in a comfortable and patient-centered clinical space,” said Oncology Services Medical Director Dr. Timothy Bael, MD. “Our state-of-the-art facilities at Cayuga Park allow us to continue to expand the exceptional care we provide along every step of the cancer journey.”

A new Lab Services site is also set to open at Cayuga Park on August 19.
