Cayuga Chamber Orchestra announces ‘Handel’s Messiah’ set for December

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cayuga Chamber Orchestra (CCO) and the Cayuga Voice Ensemble (CVE) will come together under Maestro Guillame Pirard to perform Handel’s Messiah at Ithaca College’s Ford Hall on December 6th, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.

The performance will feature a lineup of talented vocal soloists including:

  • Rachel Schutz (Soprano)
  • Brenda Iglesias (Mezzo-soprano)
  • Noah Unser (Tenor)
  • Marc Webster (Baritone)

“We are thrilled to collaborate once again with the Cayuga Voice Ensemble and to feature such talented soloists from our region,” said Sarah Chandler, CCO Executive Director. “This marks Maestro Pirard’s first Messiah with our orchestra, the CVE, and these gifted soloists, and he is eager to bring his unique artistry to this cherished work.”
