Cayuga Primary Care in Dryden to permanently close May 1

DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – Dryden is losing a doctor’s office.

After more than 70 years of operation, Cayuga Primary Care Dryden will close on May 1 due to staffing challenges and costs associated with building maintenance.

Formerly known as Dryden Family Medicine, the practice, which opened in the village in 1955, was acquired by Cayuga Medical Associates in 2023.

According to The Ithaca Voice, services offered in Dryden will relocate to The Shops at Ithaca Mall and Cortland.
