Cincinnatus school district names new secondary principal

CINCINNATUS, NY (607NewsNow) — Cincinnatus is adding a new school administrator. 

Caitlin Wasielewski was appointed secondary principal for the Cincinnatus Central School District. She’s spent the last five years as a leader in the Southern Cayuga Central School District.

“We are happy to welcome Caitlin to the Cincinnatus school community and look forward to the work she will do with our students, staff and families,” Superintendent Virginia Doll said. “Her experience as both a teacher and administrator, along with her commitment to student success, makes her an excellent fit for our district.”

Wasielewski says she wants what’s best for students.

“It is an honor to step into this role as the Secondary Principal and continue the Cincinnatus tradition of excellence,” Wasielewski said. “I am excited to partner with students, staff, families and the community to ensure every decision we make is data-driven and focused on what is best for students.”

Wasielewski begins her new role on Wed., July 1.
