City manager one of many open Ithaca leadership roles to fill, mayor says

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca will search for a new city manager. 

Mayor Robert Cantelmo tells 607 News Now it’s one of many leadership role searches taking priority in the new year. 

There are now active searches underway for a controller, fire chief, and HR director.

The Common Council accepted the resignation Wednesday, Dec. 3 of Deb Mohlenhoff, who became Ithaca’s first city manager in 2024.
