Cornell Cooperative Extension hosting workshop for food and farm grants

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An interactive, virtual workshop on upcoming grant opportunities will be held by Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) on Thursday, January 29th.

CCE has compiled a list of various funders such as the USDA, NYSFVI, and non-government related foundations that are offering grants for farmers and food access organizations.

Workshop instructor Brit Campese has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and will help attendees decide which grants work for them and will answer other grant related questions.

The workshop is free, offered as part of Finding Funds for Farms & Food Businesses program which is supported by the Tompkins County Legislature.
