Cornell football extends win streak; Bills top Chiefs

Three straight wins for the Cornell football team. On Saturday, the Big Red erased a 14-point deficit to beat Princeton 20-17. Cornell’s defense stood tall when it mattered most: Princeton was 1-12 on third down conversions.

The Ithaca College football team bullied Buffalo State 49-7 on Saturday. The Bombers had nearly 450 yards of total offense in the win.

Seven straight victories for the SUNY Cortland football team. The Red Dragons dominated Alfred State 49-7 on Saturday. Cortland quarterback Mike Rescigno threw five touchdowns in the win.

Back-to-back wins for the Bills. They beat the Chiefs 28-21 on Sunday. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen had three total touchdowns in the victory.

The Giants are on a three-game skid. New York fell to San Francisco 34-24 on Sunday. Giants Head Coach Brian Daboll said the 49ers were “pretty productive” running the football.

The Cornell men’s hockey season is underway. The Big Red lost to UMass 2-1 on Friday. On Saturday, Cornell beat UMass 3-1. Cornell freshman Gio DiGiulian scored a goal in each game.

It was an up-and-down weekend for the Syracuse Crunch. Syracuse outscored Utica 4-0 on Friday. On Saturday, the Crunch lost to Belleville 7-4.

The Knicks beat the Bulls 128-116 on Sunday. New York point guard Jalen Brunson led the way with 31 points in the win.
