ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Renovations might be coming to a Cornell building.

The university wants to transform Beebe Hall into a makerspace for students. The building currently contains offices.

Renovations would include an outdoor porch area and new rooftop equipment. A 350-square-foot addition for increased pedestrian access would also be constructed.

The Town of Ithaca Planning Board will talk about the project tonight. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Ithaca Town Hall.
