Cornell University School of Continuing Education signing transfer agreement with SUNY Broome Community College

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Cornell University’s School of Continuing Education (Cornell SCE) and SUNY Broome Community College will sign an articulation agreement at 1:00 p.m. on June 10, 2026.

The agreement will establish a transfer pathway into Cornell’s upcoming online Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) degree program. Applications for the first BPS major, Organizations, Markets, and Society, will open in January 2027. Classes for the first cohort will start in August 2027.

The collaboration is the first of Cornell SCE’s partnerships with community colleges to expand access to bachelor’s degree opportunities. The signing will take place in the Founders Room in Anabel Taylor Hall.
