Cortland among Joann Fabrics store locations slated to close

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Joann Fabrics in Cortland is closing.

On February 12, the company announced it intends to close roughly 500 of its remaining 850 stores after filing bankruptcy for the second time in less than a year. According to a USA TODAY report, 19 locations across New York are slated for closure. In addition to Cortland, nearby stores include Horseheads, Fayetteville, and Canandaigua.
