CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – More parking is coming to the Cortland County Mental Health building.
On September 24, lawmakers approved a bid to demolish the structure on an adjacent property at 83 Pendelton Street.
The project, which is being paid for through the Cortland County’s Buildings and Grounds reserve fund, will add much needed spaces at the recently opened Port Watson Street location. No additional information, including a project timeline, was included in the resolution.
After several years of planning and $5 million in federal funding, the county’s mental health department moved into its current location on Port Watson Street in February.
