CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Multiple GameStop stores are closing nationwide.

While it’s unclear how many are shutting down (an unofficial list claims more than 150 will close), the closures will affect several locations nearby. According to the Post-Standard, the Cortland location will shutter its doors sometime this week. The Painted Post store is also among the 33 affected stores in New York.

The Ithaca and Auburn locations will remain open. While several locations in and around Syracuse are slated to shut down, others, including the Destiny Mall shop, will remain open.
