CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Leaders in the Crown City are considering approving an agreement.

At tonight’s Cortland Common Council meeting, lawmakers will vote on authorizing a deal with Teamsters Local 317. If approved, the union would represent wastewater treatment plant employees through 2029.

The council discussed the deal in January and February, though no authorization took place.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Cortland City Hall.
