CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Cortland is pursuing funding to improve Randall Park.

On February 3, Cortland Common Council members unanimously authorized an application for a $390,000 Municipal Parks and Recreation grant.

If successful, it would require a 10% match from the city, and the money would be used to enhance safety and accessibility. Officials say the city match would come from the Donald Sharpe Trust Fund.

The funding would continue to build on the Randall Park Improvements Project, which included new tennis and pickleball courts.
