Cortland man faces drug charges

CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cortland man faces multiple charges.

On January 6, Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of someone with a weapon at the Family Health Network in Cortlandville. Authorities say 29-year-old Leonard Walker did not have a weapon but did allegedly have drugs. He was taken into custody without incident.

Walker is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor obstruction of governmental administration. He is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court on January 13 at 11 a.m.
