The winning ticket was purchased at the Grand Union grocery store on Route 281. Lottery officials say Miller received a lump sum payment of $6,510,010 after required tax withholdings. All the top prizes on the $10,000,000 Deluxe game have now been claimed. Valid lower-tier prizes may be cashed through November 7, 2026.

According to the New York Lottery, scratch-off games generated over $4.3 billion in total sales during the fiscal year 2024-2025. School districts in Cortland County received $11,545,121 in Lottery Aid to Education funds over that same time period.
