CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — A possible burglary in Cortland uncovered an encampment.

Police say at least four people were found living inside an office on Main Street last week that had not been used in a while. Bedding, clothing, needles, and human waste were discovered by officers. A company official says someone left through a window when they showed up on Thursday.

Cortland Police are still investigating but haven’t made any arrests.
