CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cortlandville Highway Department will benefit from new equipment.

On Aug. 6, town officials unanimously approved the purchase of two snowplows. Each was priced at $7,879.72.

The plows will attach to two new trucks.

Elsewhere in the area, the Cortland Police Department is donating a dog control vehicle.
