Crews extinguish vehicle fire in Cortlandville

CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — There are no reports of injuries after a vehicle fire in Cortlandville.

On Aug. 23, authorities were dispatched to a burning car on McLean Road. According to the Cortlandville Fire Department, the fire originated in the engine compartment and the cause is believed to be mechanical.

The road was briefly closed as the flames were put out.
