Crews prep Owego Fire Station for roof work

OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) – Repair and restoration plans are progressing in Owego.

On September 18, crews began setting up scaffolding at the historic Owego Fire Department station in the village in anticipation of the long-awaited work.

Following that, contractors will replace the roof and stabilize the clock tower.

Owego Fire says the building work has been a “desperate need for over six years.”
