DANBY, NY (607NewsNow) — Leaders in Danby are drafting a special events law.

The law would establish rules for obtaining permits and obeying noise limits. The rules wouldn’t apply to family gatherings, weddings, and religious celebrations.

The Danby Board of Zoning Appeals will talk more about the law tonight at 7 p.m. at Danby Town Hall.
