DANBY, NY (607NewsNow) — A fire in the town of Danby is under investigation.

The Danby Volunteer Fire Company says crews spent several hours Friday, Feb. 13 battling a fire at a structure on Hornbrook Rd.

“Crews arrived and began fire suppression operations under cold winter conditions with below-freezing temperatures and snow on the ground, creating additional challenges for responders on scene,” officials said.
