Deadline nears for Ithaca police officer exam

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A deadline is approaching at the Ithaca Police Department.

A civil service exam will be held Oct. 17. Ithaca Police Chief Tom Kelly said law enforcement experience is not required to apply.

“If you have an interest in public service, come down and talk to us at the police department,” he said. “The test is coming up very soon.”

The application deadline is Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
