CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – Chains are up, and baskets are waiting in Cortland.

Disc Golf season is officially open at Greek Peak.

The 18-hole, 2-mile walking course at Hope Lake is $6 per day, per person. Seasonal passes are available for $39. A new 9-hole course, the Creekside 9, is coming this summer near the Adventure Center. Officials say work is underway, and it’s expected to open by late June.

Later this year, Greek Peak is hosting a Disc Golf Getaway, with stays available at Hope Lake Lodge or the campground. The weekend, which runs from August 21-23, will feature disc golf clinics, glow-in-the-dark night rounds, and a floating island basket challenge, as well as chair lift and mountain coaster rides.
