DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – The Dryden Volunteer Fire Department is recognizing a long-time member.

Firefighter Harlan Pudney Jr. was recently named the 2025 Neptune Hose Company #1 Driver of the Year, which is the first year of the new award.

Colleagues call Pudney a consistent presence in the driver’s seat who is “always the guy that shows up to calls at 2 a.m.”
