Dryden, Freeville town courts to merge by end of 2024

DRYDEN, NY (CortacaToday) — Two Tompkins County courts are becoming one. 

The Dryden and Freeville town courts will merge by the end of the year. Dryden Town Supervisor Jason Leifer says the decision was made after a judge decided to retire. 

Leifer tells us the change won’t happen right away. 

Leifer adds court cases will transition to the town of Dryden.
