DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — 2027 will be the year of a new dam at Dryden Lake.

Deputy Dryden Town Supervisor Dan Lamb tells 607 News Now a replacement is decades in the making.

Costs for replacing the dam, which was installed over 50 years ago, will be covered by the New York DEC.

Lamb says the new dam will be made of concrete.
