CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — On March 22nd from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Experience Cortland will host their 3rd annual She Shines event at Homer Hops Brewing.

The event celebrates female entrepreneurs who contribute to Cortland County’s tourism and small business community.

Local businesses such as Waterfalls Spa, Nipotina Herb Farm, Cinch Art Space, Maslin’s Guarden, Molly Reagan of Good Neighbor Art, Floristry, The Wellness Studio, All My Friends Books, Corl’s Cooking, Juni Dee Jewelry, Pottery Works Cortland, Kara Sees Bees, and original paintings by Emily Gibbons will be in attendance. Homer Hops will offer food and craft beverages throughout the duration of the event.

“She Shines is about recognizing the incredible creativity and entrepreneurship of women in our community,” said Michelle Enright, Executive Director of Experience Cortland. “From artists and makers to wellness professionals and retailers, these women help create the unique experiences that make Cortland County such a welcoming place to visit.”

She Shines will help raise money for the Grace Brown House, a supportive housing residence in Cortland that provides assistance and shelter to those who have survived domestic violence and their families.
