CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cortland Common Council is looking at a resolution involving first responders.

Lawmakers are considering authorizing an agreement with the Crown City Ladder and Hose Company. If approved, the city would pay the group $35,000 for firefighting services through 2026.

Last year, a similar agreement received unanimous approval.

The council meets tonight at 6 p.m. at Cortland City Hall.
