FIRST ON WHCU: Rich John not seeking 4th term on Tompkins County Legislature

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — One more seat on the Tompkins County Legislature is up for grabs. 

Legislator Rich John made an announcement about his future exclusively Thursday on Ithaca’s Morning News on WHCU.

John says it’s the right time. 

Legislators Dan Klein, Deborah Dawson, Amanda Champion, Susan Currie, and Anne Koreman announced earlier this month they won’t run for another term. John, who represents part of Ithaca, adds he’d like to see more citizens run for office.
