Flock Safety reps to attend two Tompkins County meetings

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A security company will respond to public concerns in Tompkins County.

Some residents are worried about their privacy and who may have access to information collected by Flock Safety cameras installed throughout the cocomunty.

On September 16, Legislator Shawna Black withdrew a resolution to accept grant funding for the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office to give the public and other lawmakers a chance to speak with Flock directly in the near future.

Representatives from Flock will attend the Tompkins County Public Safety Committee meeting on Tuesday, September 30, and the Tompkins County Legislature Meeting on Tuesday, October 7.
