Free car seat safety checks early next week at Cornell

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – You can make sure your child is riding safely in your vehicle.

On September 22 and 23, the Cornell University Police Department will host free car seat safety checks at the station on Statler Drive.

Officers will ensure car seats are properly installed and secured.

The first safety check is scheduled for Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by another from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

The event is open to the public. Pre-registration is required by email.
