FREEVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — The village of Freeville is now accessible after hours.

A special cell phone line has been set up for residents looking for information whenever it’s needed. Freeville Clerk Julia Wallace can be reached to answer questions about tax payments, filing complaints, or to request meetings with town officials.

“With open office hours being rather limited, we know it hasn’t always been easy to reach us at times. This new service is designed to make communication quicker, more convenient, and more responsive so you never feel like you are waiting for answers,” the village said.

The number to call or text is 607-261-0705.
