Freeville man charged in alleged Walmart theft

CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tompkins County man is facing charges in Cortland County.

On August 15, deputies were called to a theft complaint at the Cortlandville Walmart at approximately 4:19 p.m.

Allen Little, of Freeville, is accused of stealing more than $1000 in merchandise after previously being trespassed from the property. The 58-year-old was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with felony burglary and grand larceny. He was arraigned and remanded to Cortland County Jail without bail.

Little will appear in Cortlandville Town Court on August 24 at 11 a.m.
