GIAC to hold annual Black History Month Talent Showcase

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tonight at the Hangar Theatre, the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) will be hosting their annual Black History Talent Month Showcase from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is “We Won’t Be Silenced & We Won’t Be Erased!” and will feature community members of all ages performing skits, monologues, music, poetry, and more. A special performance by the critically acclaimed Garifuna Collective will also be featured. A soul food dinner-to-go fundraiser will go toward supporting GIAC’s youth programs.
