SPAFFORD, NY (607NewsNow) — Authorities in Homer are receiving thanks from a neighboring agency.

On Dec. 21, the Spafford Fire Department requested mutual aid shortly after 2 a.m. The call involved a single-family house fire on Cold Brook Road.

The Homer Fire Department responded and remained on the scene for multiple hours. Other agencies, including the Skaneateles Fire Department, also responded.

On Facebook, the Spafford Fire Department said teamwork is the “name of the game.”
