Homer man dies after town of Scott crash

HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — A Homer man has died after a crash. 

Authorities say 86-year-old Ward Dukelow passed away from injuries suffered in a head-on collision with a tractor trailer on Rt. 41 in the town of Scott. Dukelow was driving with his 82-year-old wife Joann, who was critically injured. The collision occurred Feb. 12.

The 63-year-old truck driver William Schuessler was not injured. No cause of the crash has been determined, and authorities say there have been no tickets issues or charges filed.
