HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — Homer Mayor Pat Clune is giving kudos to first responders.

During a meeting on April 14, Clune praised the Homer Fire Department’s command team.

“They have been excellent this past year,” he said. “As they continue to set high standards of conduct, I can’t express how proud I am of them, and grateful that we have them in our village.”

In March, Homer firefighters provided mutual aid after a home caught fire in Freetown.
