HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — Established in 1951, the Homer Men and Boys Store is celebrating a business milestone with a 75-cent sale from June 18th to June 20th.

From Thursday, June 18th to Saturday, June 20th, the store will place racks of clothing and merchandise outside the store with all items priced at 75 cents. Inside the store, all items will be 15% off. The sale starts at 8:30 a.m. each day.

The Homer Men and Boys Store was started by Italian immigrant Roland Fragnoli, also known as ‘Frog.’ Taking out a $3,000 loan from the Homer National Bank in 1951, he used it to open the ‘Homer Army and Navy Store,’ which later became the Homer Men and Boys Store in 1960, according to their website. Through the years, Roland and his wife Margaret saw the store through new trends and expansion, working hard to become a staple in the Homer community.

Find more information about the sale on the Homer Men and Boys Store Facebook page here, and learn more about the store and what they offer on their website here.
