IC, SUNY Cortland to square off in can and bottle drive ahead of 2025 Cortaca Jug

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – The “biggest little game in the nation” is just over a week away.

Ahead of the 2025 Cortaca Jug football game, Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland’s sustainability offices have set up a Cortaca Can Collection Competition.

The school that collects the most deposit bottles between November 7 and November 14 wins. According to SUNY Cortland, all funds raised will be donated to Cortland ReUse and Finger Lakes ReUse.

The Bombers and Red Dragons will square off at noon on November 15 at Butterfield Stadium in Ithaca.
