ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca Police Chief Tom Kelly says they aren’t seeing the usual increase in package thefts from porches and doorsteps as law enforcement has seen during previous holiday seasons.

Kelly credits technological advancements for not responding to increased ‘porch pirates.’
