IPD looking for info after reported stabbing at Asteri

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An alleged stabbing at the Asteri Ithaca building on E. Green St. is currently under investigation.

According to the Ithaca Police Department, an unidentified man suffered cuts to his face and shoulder around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, July 25 while in the building. The injuries are not life threatening, police said.

There’s no description of a suspect. Witnesses are asked to contact IPD with information by calling dispatch at 607-272-3245, the tipline at 607-330-0000, or by sending a tip anonymously at www.cityofithaca.org/ipdtips.
