ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Police Department is releasing new information about a recent crash

Investigators determined a pedestrian was trying to cross Elmira Road on Feb. 10 when they were struck by someone driving a Chevrolet Silverado. The pedestrian, whose name has been withheld, was taken to a trauma center in critical condition, but has since been released and is recovering.

IPD says they’re continuing to investigate with state troopers but aren’t releasing and further details.
