ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – You can support TSA agents in Ithaca.

Beginning Monday, March 23, Ithaca Tompkins International Airport (ITH) is launching a donation drive for TSA employees and their families amid the ongoing partial government shutdown.

Airport leadership points to the commitment and resilience of its team, noting that they have not lost any TSA staff during the shutdown.

“We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our TSA team,” said Airport Director Roxan Noble. “Even during challenging circumstances, they continue to show up every day to serve our community. We’re proud to stand behind them and invite the community to do the same.”

Non-perishable food items, household essentials, and gift cards can be dropped off at the Airport Administration Building from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27. The building is located at 72 Brown Road in Ithaca.

Curbside donations will also be accepted at the Airport Terminal on Tuesday, March 24, and Thursday, March 26, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Signage and staff will be available for assistance.
