Ithaca College names next women’s basketball head coach

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca College has found a new women’s basketball head coach.

The school is hiring Erin Hughes. She’ll start working May 26.

Hughes has been an assistant coach at Trinity College for the past two seasons. She also coached at Washington and Lee University for several years.

Hughes said she’s “fully committed” to continuing Ithaca’s successful program. She’ll replace Head Coach Dan Raymond, who’s retiring after 26 years on South Hill.
